The UBS Global Healthcare Conference is an invitation only, annual culmination of healthcare companies providing insight, information and experience for the ever changing international healthcare arena. Independent Livings Systems (ILS) presented their innovative business model at this year’s UBS Global Healthcare Conference Tuesday, February 10th, 2009. Independent Living Systems has placed third in the list of the top 200 Florida small businesses. South Florida Business Leader published “The 2008 South Florida 500” in its June/July 2008 issue. Independent Living Systems, LLC was ranked in the top 10 Florida small businesses. Voting was then given to the public and after a two month tally period, Independent Living Systems was voted in by readers at number 3.

Independent Living Systems Announces Distribution Agreement with MagicKitchen.com
Miami, FL – (October 8, 2008) – In an exciting development in the meal delivery industry, Independent Living Systems LLC has partnered with MagicKitchen.com, a leading online retail marketer of home-style, chef-prepared gourmet meals. Previously, Independent Living Systems focused their business on selling their meals and programs exclusively to the healthcare sector. The new agreement maintains that the company will distribute their full line of healthy meals to MagicKitchen.com for sale to the public sector as well.
The meals will become part of the existing lineup of healthy, nutritious meals that California-based MagicKitchen.com’s sells online and through their call center. Independent Living Community Services, Inc. an ILS Affiliated Partner, Donates 1000 Meals to Westwood Christian School
Miami, Florida, February 18, 2008-
Independent Living Community Services, Inc. (ILCS) donated 1000 meals to Westwood Christian School. These meals were then in turn distributed to a community of migrant workers in Homestead, Florida. Students from Westwood Christian School and members of First Baptist Church of Westwood Lake helped distribute the meals together with the Coalition of Florida Farmworker Organizations.
The meals that were donated by ILCS were a product of ILSMeals, the meals division of Independent Living Systems, LLC. ILSMeals sells individually packaged frozen meals for home delivery that are nutritionally balanced for persons with diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol or heart disease.
This meal distribution was part of a monthly activity that Pastor Mark Morrison of Westwood calls “bridge building in the community.”
